Office Concierge/Receptionist

Position Summary: 
The Receptionist serves as the front-facing ambassador of AME Landscape Companies, managing all incoming calls, greeting visitors, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a warm and approachable demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Greet visitors warmly, direct them appropriately, and ensure all guests feel welcome and cared for.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, answer incoming calls, transfer calls, and take detailed messages when needed. 
  • Maintain the front office’s professional appearance, including the lobby and conference areas. 
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and mailing. 
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars for managers as needed. 
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries. 
  • Support HR, Accounting, and Operations teams with clerical needs. 
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone to clients, vendors, and team members. 

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience (construction, landscape, or service industry a plus). 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a cheerful and professional attitude. 
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new systems. 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required. 
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday in an office environment. 
  • Positive, outgoing personality and a genuine desire to create a welcoming first impression for everyone. 

Landscape Construction Laborer

Position Summary: 
The Landscape Maintenance Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks to keep commercial properties clean, safe, and beautiful. This is an entry-level, hands-on role that is essential to the day-to-day success of our operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, raking, and weeding. 
  • Prune shrubs, hedges, and trees according to seasonal schedules and best horticultural practices. 
  • Assist with planting, mulching, and seasonal color installations. 
  • Operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed). 
  • Support irrigation inspections and minor repairs as directed. 
  • Maintain clean and organized work vehicles, trailers, and job sites. 
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and wear proper PPE. 
  • Show up on time, ready to work, and represent AME Landscape Companies professionally. 

Qualifications: 

  • Prior landscaping experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person! 
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in Arizona’s climate. 
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks. 
  • Good attitude, team player, and willingness to learn. 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. 
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned yard or job sites. 

Irrigation Technician

Position Summary:
The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems across commercial properties. This role is essential for ensuring that landscapes are properly irrigated, conserving water, and maintaining the health and appearance of our clients’ properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair all types of irrigation systems, including valves, heads, piping, timers, and controllers.
  • Perform irrigation system checks and audits to ensure optimal performance and water conservation.
  • Program, monitor, and adjust irrigation controllers based on seasonal requirements and site needs.
  • Install and maintain drip systems, spray systems, valves, piping, and backflows.
  • Identify and report any landscape issues (e.g., leaks, dry areas, overwatering) and recommend solutions.
  • Respond to irrigation emergencies and service calls promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, replacements, and service schedules.
  • Operate vehicles, trenchers, and small machinery safely and responsibly.
  • Assist landscape maintenance teams as needed with seasonal planting, turf management, and other tasks.
  • Follow all AME safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in irrigation installation, repair, or maintenance (commercial experience preferred).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for drip, spray, and central irrigation systems.
  • Familiarity with Hunter, Rain Bird, Toro, and/or WeatherTRAK systems preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and site layouts.
  • Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
  • Backflow Certification or Arizona Applicator’s License (B3/B5) is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Landscape Construction Foreman

Position Summary:
The Landscape Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site activities for landscape construction projects. This includes overseeing crews, ensuring work aligns with project plans and specs, maintaining safety standards, and delivering excellent craftsmanship on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, communicates clearly, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead, and motivate landscape construction crews on active job sites.
  • Interpret and execute construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Coordinate tasks including grading, trenching, planting, irrigation installation, hardscape construction, and site clean-up.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, meets AME’s quality standards, and complies with project deadlines.
  • Communicate daily with the Project Manager or Superintendent regarding job progress, material needs, and crew performance.
  • Monitor use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
  • Ensure proper layout, installation, and inspection of irrigation and drainage systems.
  • Conduct jobsite safety meetings and enforce all OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Assist with training and development of crew members.
  • Track and report hours worked, progress photos, deliveries, and materials used on site.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of landscape construction experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardscape installation, irrigation systems, planting, and grading techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape construction plans and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience operating equipment (mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and crew management skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.
