Q: What is the best career advice you’ve received?
A: It came from my father and he said I was really good at organization so I should pursue something where I could use those skills. He told me this when I was about 15 years old. He was so right.
Q: Before working in your current position, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
A: I am very proud that I am now the vice president of our property management division here at Metro. I started as a secretary/admin person and have advanced to this position through hard work and dedication.
Q: If you could switch your job with anyone else within Commercial Real Estate whose job would you want?
A: Construction Manager. I used to do some construction management for Metro and still miss that part of the job.
Q: What is on your wish list for the next 10 years in Management?
A: My wish is to retire in about 6 years with the confidence that I have created a department that is both effective and efficient and that some of my policies and procedures are sound enough to be carried forward by those who follow me.
